last weekend, ransom called me and asked if paul and i would be able to watch conrad while he took katie away for their anniversary...OF COURSE! when i get to watch him on tuesdays, i tell ransom and katie they can pick him up as late as they want. it is my therapy...rans dropped him off at mom and dad's while we were at a neighborhood preparedness activity and abby watched him for me. we got back to pick him up and he was getting tired. he was asleep by 9pm. this time when he slept over, he slept all night. since paul and i don't have crib or anything, he sleeps in our bed with us. he gets all the room in the world and i make paul and i squish on the other side. he woke up at 6:30 and asked for milk. we made cookies, ate a lot of croutons, watched toy story 2, went on walks, saw grandma and grandpa, took a nap (he did) and then ransom and katie came to get him. it is always really sad for me to go back into the house and have it really quiet. it was a blast and i can't wait until next time.

I know how kids sleep, moving all around...hope you guys got some sleep in too. I know you enjoyed that special time cuddling with your little Conrad. You'll have to blog the recipe for those croutons...they are getting famous!
