happy new year!

i can't believe it is this time of year again. time does pass by way too fast. paul and i had a great new year...we spent the night up at scott and jill's cabin, went snowmobilling, ate a lot of great food, spent time with those we love, and relaxed! it was wonderful. i have three resolutions for this year. if i have too many, i don't do any of them. so i thought it would keep it simple (which will be my theme for this next year).
-eat healthy/exercise
-try new things (i want to refinish my kitchen table)
-stop withdrawing (i don't compete for relationships, so instead i pull back and i am not myself when i need to keep being myself)
the third one is the most important one. my family would agree. you know what they say, (who are they? not sure...) the first step is recognizing the issue(s) and then fixing them.
i will say that mostly the past week has been spent thinking and praying for our friends who had their baby c-section at 23 weeks... i do love knowing that our heavenly father is very aware of them and their needs and he is right by their side. i know things will be okay with them and their new little family. prayer is powerful.

The new year always brings on a time of reflection, I guess that's why we make resolutions. It's a good thing that God never leaves us as we are, but changes us daily(if we allow Him) more into the image of Him. I'll be praying for your friends and their new little baby. Love Aunt Becky

Keep it simple should be the goal for all of us. I like your resolutions and we loved bringing in the new year with you two. Love Mom

Does your new year's resolution include blogging more than once a week?
Love you!!!
