paul's little sister heidi, graduated tonight from high school. we are so proud of her. paul and i took off right after work and drove up to logan so we could be there. (what is with all the construction by the way?) we got there just in time and spent most of the time trying to find her in her seat. during one of the speeches, we noticed the boys moving around a lot. a couple teachers went to see the commotion and pretty soon, they were part of the commotion. i thought..."how rude, they are getting some good advice". a couple minutes later, a little white mouse came out from under their chairs. the entire crowd got up, screamed and pointed. i must admit i didn't like the sight of that little mouse at all...i put my feet up impressively fast. some student must have thought..."this will be hilarious" whatever... paul doesn't do well sitting for longer than 10 minutes (unless he is eating), and was soon moving around wishing the speakers would speed up their remarks. it was pretty comical.
finally the service was done and we were able to spend a little time with her. she is a wonderful woman. when i met her 7 years ago, she was so shy and didn't walk around with a lot of confidence. she really has blossomed. she is so pretty and holds her head high. i am so glad she is my sister...

Congratulations to Heidi! Thank goodness for the mouse... it's probably the only thing the kids will remember about graduation through the years :)
I remember meeting Heidi from your wedding. She has grown into a beautiful, confident woman. How was Logan? I sure love that city:)
