in may of 2003, paul and i were married in the salt lake temple. it was a beautiful day. the weather was perfect and the tulips were in perfect bloom. paul and i had all the pictures taken together on monday afternoon. my aunt becky and nana went with mom, paul, the photographer, and i to the grounds. i remember it was so cold. i really got tired of smiling and kissing for the camera. i felt so weird about it all.tuesday morning we drove up to salt lake to get married. i made sure that paul and double and triple checked that he brought our marriagelicense and certificates. it felt incredible to be surrounded by those i love dearly. the ceremony didn't take to long at all. before i knew it i was mrs paul ward. i knew i had married a wonderful man. he reminded me of my dad. i knew he would put me first, and i would do my best to make sure he was happy! after the ceremony we had some pictures taken with those that were there. we were done within an hour. my sisters were so happy they didn't have to be there for ever! we then had a ring ceremony and a luncheon for family at the white willow reception center. i sang a song to paul, mom, bonnie andbecky sang a song to me, and my sisters gave me a little tribute on what they would miss the most from me. on wednesday night we had the reception at white willow too. i didn't get to eat any of the food there. i do remember there were delicious looking cakes and brownies. i did get some water though. what a life saver. i saw some friends and family i hadn't seen in a while. it was great to catch up for a bit. we cut the cake, threw the bouquet, ran through sparklers and said our goodbyes.
